Posted by on 23 June 2011

If you are looking for sales letter copy tips then you’ve come to the right place. You will learn three effective tips that you can use right away in your sales letter that will help you to sell your products and get whatever results that you want.

The first thing that I’m going to share with you is drawing your reader in with a headline, the next tip that you will learn is writing for your target audience, and lastly, I’m going to tell you about benefits.

Okay, so without further delay, here are the sales letter copy tips that I talked about earlier.

Take a pad and pencil to take some notes as you’re reading this article.

Tip 1. Pull them in with a headline: When you write sales copy, you want to create a killer headline for your audience. You want to make sure that your headline speaks to the needs of your reader and not about being clever and cute without giving something to your audience that relates specifically to them. Most headlines that you read in brochures focus on the company and their product,
you don’t want to do that. You want your headline to appeal to the interest of your audience.

Tip 2. Keep your focus on benefits and not features: You want to always have your target audience in mind when you are writing your sales letter copy. It must tell them what is in it for them because they don’t care about your product or service if it doesn’t solve their problem. Put the word: “you” in your copy when you’re writing. (This is a killer sales letter copy tip that I’ve just shared with you).

Tip 3. Being focused on your reader, and not on yourself, the writer: Your target audience must learn why they should choose your product. Is it going to help them save money? Or time? Make them eternally happy even when it rains? Don’t write the sales letter copy in the way that you think you’d enjoy reading it. Write it to serve your target market.

I have just shared some effective sales letter copy tips with you that will help to sell your products. You now know the importance of writing sales letter copy that should be focused on your reader and not on you, why you must have a killer headline, and the reason you should write more on benefits of your product and not so much the features. Take these sales letter copy tips and write a sales letter that will knock your own socks off your feet.

STOP! Pay Close Attention Right Now.

copywritingsuccesstutorials.blogspot.com When people tell me that writing copy is hard, I roll my eyes… Creating killer copy is easy if you have a system, and you just concentrate on the few key things that determine your success. For example, your offer is far more important than anything else. I can write winning copy selling a Mercedes for . But I could never write a sales letter selling a moped for million dollars. I could spend ten hours trying to write the perfect words to help you understand you should buy now… Or I could use a couple strategies for inducing scarcity and fear of loss… and then I wouldn’t even need to convince you to buy now. Copywriting is easy when you know what to focus on. Surprisingly, out of all the courses I’ve bought on copywriting, very few address this critical point. That’s why I was pleasantly surprised when I checked out the Copywriting Success Shortcut System. It literally has the ability to take even the newest copywriter and have them writing world-class 000 per letter copy in a matter of hours.

7 Sales Letter Tips That Can Have You Writing Powerful Sales Copy

Posted by on 14 June 2011

The art of writing winning sales letters is something that cannot be achieved overnight, but you can definitely improve your skills day-by-day. With the skill of writing sales letters, you can write your way out of debt and into a lifestyle of financial freedom. Without this profitable skill, you will find yourself with meager sales and a business with little to no profitability.

So in this article, we’ll take a look at 7 tips you can use to improve your sales letter skills and conversion rates, so that you can finally have a website that sells. Here’s tip number 1:

          1) Remember that’s all about your prospect

No one cares about you, your business, or your history. All your prospects want to know is “what’s in it for me” – and this is what you should be tailoring your message to.

As harsh as it sounds, it’s the truth, and you shouldn’t be baffled by the idea that your prospects think this way, you should embrace it. You need to write your sales letters as if your prospect is sitting directly in front of you.

What you would say in that situation is exactly what you should say in your sales letter. Be sure to use the word “you” very often also. It helps to make it seem like you’re talking to your prospect one-to-one.

          2) Your headline is pivotal

If you really want to show your prospect that you care, you need to put them in your headline. This tells them everything. It lets them know what’s in it for them, it lets them know the benefits that they will receive, and it also lets them know if they should keep reading or now. If you’re headline can’t do all 3 of these things, then it needs revising.

          3) Make your bullet points awesome

Your bullet points tell the reader everything that they will receive from your product. When creating your bullet points, you will want to make a list of features and benefits to include in your sales letter. This will show your prospect everything they will get from your product and how they can achieve and accomplish a certain goal in their life.

          4) If you’re stuck, use a swipe file

A swipe file is the easiest way to get ideas on how to write a winning sales letter. A swipe file is simple a stack of winning sales letters and advertisements that you emulate and use as ideas for your own pieces. So whenever you get stuck or have writer’s block, simply go to your swipe file for more ideas.

          5) Just write

If you have no idea on what to say during a certain part of your sales letter, just start writing. After you start writing, you creative juices will start flowing and in no time you will come up with a ton of ideas of what to include in your sales piece. This is a great technique to use for your headline also – which is a place where many copywriters have trouble with. After you start writing, simply revise and edit as necessary.

          6) Make your sales letter light on the eyes

You can do this in a number of ways. You can do this with larger font. You can do this by using shorter paragraphs. You can include images to help you reader to understand better. And you can highlight or use font styles such as bold, italics, or underline to emphasize key points to your reader. The easier you make your sales letter to read, the easier it will be for your prospect to order from you.

          7) Maximize their interest

No reader wants to read anything boring. That’s why you have to maximize their interest via your sales copy. And you can do this in a number of different ways. You can include video on your website showing the user how to do something. You can include audio on your website to literally “speak” to your reader. You can use informative pictures that make a point. Or you can simply tell a story via your sales copy.

All of these methods work to maximize the interest of your prospect, now it’s just your turn to go out there and make it happen. Writing great sales letters is easy once you have a proven step-by-step model to follow. And with this article, you are on the right track to doing so. Good luck on your sales letter writing efforts!
